MHO highlighted as living wage employer in Ottawa Business Journal’s Giving Guide

Matthew House Ottawa was featured in the Ottawa Business Journal’s 2022 Giving Guide as a living wage certified employer.  

Executive Director, Allan Reesor-McDowell, highlighted the importance of paying a living wage and how it helps to retain a high quality staff. 

“By providing better compensation consistently, we can retain quality employees, which is really important for our organization,” he said. “People have a lot of different hats that they have to wear and we really need solid people to do the work... how do we treat people so they want to stay?”
